The Bannisters are about to celebrate the holidays in their new house. But a string of burglaries in the neighborhood has George Bannister thinking it might be a blue Christmas unless he gets a watchdog. So he goes out and does something he's sure will save the day—and irk his wife. He brings home Zeus, a real-life ex-police dog with a hero's pedigree.

In "The Mistle-Tones," Holly (Tia Mowry), blessed with an amazing singing voice, is all set to audition for the newly vacated spot in a legendary local Christmas group which was founded by her late mother years ago. Shocked and upset when the slot goes to the barely talented best friend of the group's leader, Marci (Tori Spelling), Holly sets out to create her own musical group, The Mistle-Tones. After challenging their rivals to a sing-off on Christmas Eve, Holly finds herself on a journey to the real meaning of Christmas—with some new friends and new love thrown in for good measure.

Baby's First Christmas

With a pair of feuding colleagues are thrown together after their siblings fall in love and merge their two families, they have to learn to get along in time for their nephew's birth on Christmas Eve. Realizing their family has major money trouble, they come together to help and end up on a snowy New York adventure that will prove miracles really do happen at Christmas.

When six-year old Holly is orphaned, her three uncles step in to raise her. She hasn't spoken a word since her mother passed away, and the three men try relentlessly to get her to speak. When Maggie, a local toy shop owner, steps in to help, she steals Uncle Mark's heart and encourages Holly to find her voice again.

Holiday time is here! The chefs open up the first basket to find spiral ham and beautiful Italian cookies. Family memories influence decisions in their first dishes. Santa Claus melons come to town for the entree round, and one of the competitors makes a big holiday mess in the kitchen. Then in the dessert round, the remaining two chefs must turn eggnog and Hanukkah gelt into the perfect final gift for the judges.

"Four Weddings" Holiday Showdown

In this special episode of "Four Weddings," four brides with four different winter holiday-themed weddings have agreed to attend, and score, each other's big days. The top-scoring wedding and its bride will win a dream honeymoon for her and her groom.

The volunteers at the Delmar, New York firehouse affectionately call their colleague Chris Massie "Gramps." He may be the oldest firefighter there, but he's also the best cook. He'll put Mo through all the usual firefighting training exercises and then he and Mo will make a stick-to-your-ribs, mouth-watering Christmas dinner for his squad.

"The Hollywood Christmas Parade" is a lively affair, featuring musical bands, celebrities in open air antique cars, marching bands, live cartoon characters, twelve equestrian groups and much more.

Three designers create holiday decor for celebrity guests. A Hollywood glamour themed Christmas in the Hollywood Hills for actress and TV host Ali Sweeney, a Kiwi-inspired holiday for country star Jo Dee Messina and family in Nashville, Tennessee, and a nostalgic Hawaiian celebration for actor, singer and TV personality Wayne Brady in Los Angeles.

ABC Family's "25 Days of Christmas," cable's biggest programming event of the year, returns with 25 continuous days of holiday-themed entertainment for the whole family. From December 1 – 25, viewers can ring in the holidays with original movies, holiday specials and returning favorites, including this year's premiere original movies "Home Alone: The Holiday Heist" and "The Mistle-Tones."

"The Twilight Zone" New Year's Eve Marathon on Syfy 
Airs: all day Monday, 12/31/12

As part of the network's annual holiday programming event, Syfy will again air the always popular New Year's Eve "Twilight Zone" marathon beginning at 8am on Monday, 12/31 and running into the early morning hours of New Year's Day.

It's a Wonderful Lifetime 
Airs: Saturday, 11/10/12 through Monday, 12/31/12

The largest holiday stunt in the network's history, "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" will run from early November through December, during which Lifetime will telecast more than 50 holiday-themed films that capture everything about the holiday spirit. The major star-studded holiday movie slate will feature the world premieres of ten Lifetime Original Movies featuring such beloved stars as David Hasselhoff, Mira Sorvino, Haylie Duff, Ralph Maccio, Lea Thompson, Marilu Henner, Harry Hamlin and numerous others.

24 Hours of A Christmas Story on TBS 
Airs: Monday, 12/24/12 through Tuesday, 12/25/12

One of television's most popular holiday traditions will be back this year as TBS presents the 16th annual edition of 24 Hours of "A Christmas Story," beginning Christmas Eve. Based on the short stories of famed humorist Jean Shepherd, "A Christmas Story" follows the mischievous adventures of a young boy who longs for a special Christmas gift – a Red Ryder BB gun.
