Vikings (new series);
2013 TBA - The first scripted, original series for the network, Vikings stars TV and movie actor Gabriel Byrne. The story will follow Ragnar Lothbrok, a real historical figure, as he rises from the Viking tribe's greatest warrior to their eventual king.
Syfy -
Defiance (new series);
April 2013 - This new series is getting a lot of media attention since it is the "first-ever convergence of television and Massive Multiplayer Online gaming, featuring an interconnected world and storylines that will co-exist on both platforms."
TBS -
Cougar Town (new series - original/first-run episodes);
early 2013 - TBS has ordered a fourth season of the comedy, Cougar Town, to begin airing in early 2013. In addition, the network has purchased the rights to Cougar Town's first three seasons of 61 episodes. The series stars Courtney Cox.
USA -
Modern Family (acquired series);
2013 TBA - USA has acquired exclusive rights to "Modern Family," which is currently one of television's most successful and critically-acclaimed comedies.
Lifetime -
Devious Maids (new series);
2013 TBA - Creator Marc Cherry's first series since Desperate Housewives ended its run, Devious Maids centers on a group of five maids who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. The show stars Susan Lucci (All My Children), Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Judy Reyes (The Pregnancy Project), Dania Ramirez (Entourage), Roselyn Sanchez (Without a Trace), Edy Ganem (Livin' Loud), Grant Show (Swing Town), Brianna Brown (Homeland), Rebecca Wisocky (American Horror Story), Tom Irwin (Grey's Anatomy), Mariana Klaveno (True Blood), Brett Cullen (Damages) and Drew Van Acker (Pretty Little Liars).
